BANDARI SACCO is licensed DTS (Deposit Taking Sacco); the biggest SACCO in the Coastal region and one of the 10 biggest Societies in Kenya by Asset base. The SACCO promotes thrift, provides credit services at competitive interest rates the aim of which is contribute to their financial strength and general wellbeing of its members.

The Sacco has been on a steady growth over the last 10 years, with a total asset base currently standing 6.7 Billion and a fully paid up membership of over 11,000 members. The Sacco Annual turnover as at the end of 2015 stood at over Kes. 800 Million And over 1 Billion by end of 2016. The Sacco prides itself for winning various awards including consistently paying some of the highest interest on deposit and dividends over the years.

Bandari Sacco provides its financial services through BOSA, FOSA and conveniently located outlets – commonly known as Liaison Offices. Its range of products and services are organized into either deposits products, credit products and financial advisory services. The Sacco is also leveraging on mobile banking technology to provide additional services through its FOSA to its vast clientele at the comfort of their seats.

The Sacco operates a delegate system of governance where the supreme authority of the Sacco is exercised at the Annual delegates meeting from where the Sacco directors are elected and key decisions relating to the Sacco are sanctioned.
